Destiny 2 Forsaken ReviewDestiny 2 Forsaken is one of the better versions of the Destiny universe. The Destiny series, at least the first two games, have been known for the game play that is great, but not a lot of the story development or character development has carried over from one game to the next.Destiny 2 Forsaken is much improved. The game is more of a combination of games then it is its own self, the quests are similar to the ones found in the first two games, but some new elements make the games feel a lot like a complete package. In this case it is.The Forsaken campaign is more linear than the main campaign of the first two games. Players will get around a larger area that will allow you to complete the major quests and side quests with ease.The quests are a bit tougher though and require players to interact with a lot more NPCs, which can be time consuming. Still, the quests should be done fairly quickly if you are playing as Cayde-6.There are only two main areas where t he Forsaken is set. The first is the Moon, the second is the Traveler. The locations of these areas change depending on the player's choice, so you have to choose what you want to do with them as well.The second area where you find yourself is the Traveler itself, where there is a final boss and a challenge for all of the different characters. These are two areas that I would say are in a different league compared to the other zones in the game.Destiny 2 Forsaken is the first time since the original game that the three different Destiny characters can fight side by side. It is a cool idea, but can be difficult to pull off. Still, I have seen some talented players to play with this, and it really looks amazing.Overall I give Destiny 2 Forsaken a solid 9 out of 10. It offers the same feel that has been the trademark of the Destiny franchise but provides a ton of extra content and replayability that the other games missed. Plus, it offers a large area to explore with its new linear lev eling system.
